About Us
The Story Behind MAY

For seven years, Anna worked in Los Angeles as an executive assistant. She was organized, driven, and the person who kept everything running. But behind the scenes, burnout was building. Her career and long-term relationship no longer felt aligned, and her health began to suffer.
So she started small. She began making her own sunscreen, toothpaste, and everyday products. Each thing she made gave her a little more control when so much of life felt uncertain. She called it MAY: Make Anything Yourself.
Then she called Brandon, her high school sweetheart. After years apart, Anna was searching for a sense of safety, belonging, and home.
That call became the beginning of something neither of us expected.
We were both looking for more purpose and meaning, so we began studying health coaching together, first to find our own way forward, then to help others do the same.
We came to believe that a healthier life isn't built on perfection or quick fixes. It's built through connection, intentional choices, and the small things we do each day to create a life that feels like our own.

The action that brings the philosophy to life
Anna brings the philosophy into the everyday. Through simple routines, thoughtful recipes, and practical tools, she explores how to make a healthier life feel possible, tangible, and personal. Her approach is shaped by the experience of having to begin again and learning that change doesn't happen all at once. It happens in the choices we make, the habits we build, and the care we learn to give ourselves each day.

The heart and humor behind the philosophy
Brandon believes connection is life's most precious currency. He understands its value not as an abstract idea, but as something that can be felt in the moments we need it most. His perspective shapes the philosophy behind MAY: that we are not meant to navigate life entirely on our own, and that meaningful change often begins when we feel connected to ourselves, to others, and to something bigger than ourselves.
